This just in: Eric Christian Olsen—who recurred on NCIS: LA last season as LAPD liaison Marty Deeks—has been promoted to a full-fledged series regular, CBS confirms.
“We are thrilled to have Eric join the cast,” said executive producer Shane Brennan in a statement. “He has already proved himself to be a great asset and invaluable member of the team, and Eric’s fans will be delighted to see what we have in store for him.”
NCIS: LA‘s second season kicks off with a two-hour episode on Sept. 21.
